My wife and I love Seinole Casino Coconut Creek.
    Plenty of slots.
    Plenty of tables.
    Terrific well priced restaurants.
Plenty of bands on the weekend.
    Loads of parking.
    Good Players Club.

  2. KLEINMAN says...

Seminole in Coconut Creek is great. Plenty of machines and tables. Loads of entertainment. Good restaurants. Players Club with plenty of benefits.
Seminole HR in Holywood is also great. Plenty of everything plus a huge shopping area outside with clubs and other restaurants

  3. Anthony Franza says...

Love the Isle Casino. 100% smoke free.

Worst casino Mardi Gras Casino. Dirty, dingy, dark facility. Lousy restaurants and real cheezey staff and entertainment.

Seminole Coconut Creek is also terrific if its ventalization system is working other wise the smoke could kill you.

  4. Hal V says...

Seminole Coconut Creek Casino and Seminole Immokalee are my 2 favorites.
Good tables/machines. Good restaurants. Plenty of comp entertainment. Plus Immokalee has a hotel.

I live in Pompano Beach and every so often go to isle which isn’t bad. The casino at Gulfstream stinks. As does the Mardi Gras. The HR is Hollywood isn’t bad with plenty to do and a big arcade outside. The casino at Gulfstream is just a a video arcade with slots and not much is going on there.

  5. Davis Polk says...

HR in Hollywood has it all going right.
    Same for Seminole Coconut Creek.
Gulfstream is a loser as is Mardi Gras.

  6. Midwoid Guy says...

If you want to see what a casino should not be, go look at Mardi Gras. Decor from the 60s. Staff slovenly looking. Low ceilings. Crappy restaurants. Old machines. A low end desperate clientele.

The Hard Rock is good as is Cocnut Creek.

Isle is good but needs table games.

Casino at Gulfstream is just a waste. Really just a video gaming arcade.

  7. Don Dee says...

Compared to the big Las Vegas casinos they all stink.
The Hard Rock in Hollywood is the best that I’ve played at in Florida.

I live in Hallandale Beach and have been to a number of the local casinos in the area. The one that is the worst in the Mardi Gras Casino. A total DUMP.

  8. Neil Daniels says...

    I live in Sunrise.
Over the years I’ve been to:
    HR in Hollywood
    Seminole Coconut Creek
    Seminole Classic
    Mardi Gras
    Magic City

I like the HR, Creek. Good slots, tables, food, entertainment.
Isle is n’t bad, but no tables.
Gulfstream is basically slots and not much else.
Magic City isn’t bad and has good entertainment.
Mardi Gras is a disaster. Old dingy mess.
Classic is basically slots and low end.

  9. TURNER says...

I love to play poker at Isle Casino because it’s smoke free.

Gulf Stream Casino is just a bunch of slots and not worth the time to check out.

The Mardi Gras Casino is a dump. Real low end.

Seminole HR and Coconut Creek are excellent. Plenty of slots and tables. Loads of restaurants and entertainment.

  10. SidRidesABike says...

Don’t like Seminole Classic they allow smoking.
Love HR in Hollywood. Plenty to do there.
Love Seminole in Coconut Creek. Plenty to do there.
Love Magic City Casino they have great concerts.
Love Isle as its no smoking.
Don’t like Mardi Gras. Very low end crowd. Very run down facility.
Don’t like Gulfstream it’s just slots.

  11. Jeff from boca says...

I really like Seminole Coconut Creek. Good slots and tables. Good restaurants. Plenty of parking spaces. Plenty of bands and shows.

I really like Isle because it’s a no smoking facility. It also has some pretty good restaurants.

I don’t like Seminole Classic and Mardi Gras. Both are second rate casinos with a real seedy look and smell to them.

  12. ksr says...

    Like the HR in Hollywood.
Like the Seminole in Coconut Creek.
    Don’t like the Isle.
    Don’t like Gulfstream.
    Don’t like the Mardi Gras.
    Don’t like Magic City.
    Don’t like Seminole Classic.

  13. KLEINMAN says...

  14. Jeff,
Literally most of the listed casinos should be closed. Real second rate crap holes.

  15. EISEN says...

In the Ft Lauderdale area the HR and Seminole in Coconut Creek are the best. Isle is good. Gulfstream is lousy. Mardi Gras is disgusting.

I am usually at the Coconut Creek 1 or 2 days a month. Good slots and tables. Nice choice on food and bands galore on the weekends.

  16. Carl T says...

    I live in Boca Raton.
The only casinos I would even consider going to are Seminole Coconut Creek, Hard Rock in Hollywood, Isle. These casinos have the right gaming feel.

The casino at Gulfstream is an absolute joke. Just a bunch of slots.

The Mardi Gras is a dark dingy dumpy casino. Went there once and left after walking in.

  17. Lou C says...

In the Fort Lauderdale area the Seminole Hard Rock Casino is the best with the Seminole Coconut Creek a close runner up. Isle is okay with decent restaurants.. The casino at Gulfstream isn’t very good. It just has videos. The Mardi Gras Casino is bad news. An old rundown dilapidated facility. Haven’t been to the others on the list.

  18. E231K says...

I play poker at least 2x a week at the Isle. Love the non smoking and delicious Myron’s Deli when I’m there.

  19. Stu W says...

    Hard Rock Tampa is terrific.

  20. The HR in Hollywood and Seminol in Coconut Creek are excellent.
The worst one in my area (Fort Lauderdale) is Mardi Gras. Very rundown.
Isle is good and it’s no smoking.
Gulfstream is is basically just slots. Not very good.

  21. Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek does a great job.

  22. Kathleen Wills says...

We live in Cape Coral and are very disappointed that we have no casinos other than Tampa HR which is 3 hours away! We try and do an overnight on the east coast maybe every 6 months and try to hit many of our favorites.
They are: Caulder Casino-Miami Gardens- NonSmoking
    Isles- Pompano – NonSmoking
HR – Hollywood – wish is was non smoking
Coconut creek – Great places to eat but wish it was non smoking
The casinos we do not like were:
Mardi Gras – Dark and nothing special
Gulfsteam – A joke but the area is beautiful
    Classic – Yuck

We can only hope that one day we in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area will get a big casino on the west coast. (Hopefully non-smoking)

  23. Rosa Gooch says...

Worse casino in Miami, Florida would be Magic City casino, because players club is lousy, they lie about the benefits, no drinking while you are playing. No food allowed, not even your bagged left overs. Felt like a leper cause the restrictions are ridiculous. The uber was expensive leaving the casino to get back to the hotel. Very dark, unfriendly, and boring. Never going back, no fun with so many rules!
