    This is a great lineup.
I have seen Negron and Farner. I have not seen BS&T with Bice.

  2. Louis D says...

    Saw the show.
BST was very good but not even 1 of the 9 on the stage were originals or played on the hits.

    Jeff,
    Was there last night.
The concert was just okay and way too long.
Almost 4 hours is pushing your luck.
The problem BST played things that weren’t hits. We know that the group has a good drummer but all of the solos by him and others just wasted time.
Negron had so many hits that he didn’t sing.
    Too much crap going on.
Talented folks but the show was way too long and boring.

I my wife and a couple of friends went to the concert.
We had a good time but as others have mentioned way too long.
You really didn’t need 3 acts. 2 acts would have been just fine.
The time wasted with playing non hits also was a killer.
Play the hits and don’t waste time.
Whoever is running The Amp has to do a better job booking acts and timing them out right.

  5. Charles D says...

Do you have any idea how desperate Bo Bice must be to be fronting this band?
Bo does a nice job impersonating David Clayton Thomas.
BST HAD NO REAL MEMBERS ON THE STAGE LAST NIGHT. 9 good musicians with absolutely no connection whatsoever to the original hit records. In essence a good tribute band.
The Pompano Ampthitheater can do better than this. It did it with Morris Day, Robbie Krieger, Mark Stein, but to have a headliner made up of NOBODYS is absurd.
The show was good but anyone who thinks that they really saw BS&T is fooling themselves.

I agree, good tribute band but nothing more than that.

    Stop crying.
I had a blast there last night. Great music and good weather. By the way I had an arepa that was terrific with some nice cold beer.

  7. Male says...

Loved the whole concert. Bice was terrific.

  8. Lee G says...

Had a great time. the concert was terrific.
Thought that Mark Farner was the best act.
