Denny’s Bacon Slamburger
* Denny’s Bacon Slamburger.
This is a picture of a Denny’s Bacon Slamburger.
Jeff Eats is willing to bet you guys any amount of money that you’d like, that this- burger doesn’t taste as good-as-it-looks! Just so you know, Jeff Eats has eaten a Denny’s Bacon Slamburger, so I know that this bet is a slam dunk!
No need to go into fine detail, but Jeff Eats considers Denny’s which currently has something like 1,700 restaurants (there are 144 in Florida) to be one of the worst run restaurant chains in America. Its service stinks and if and when you get your food, it-shall we say…leaves a lot to be desired!.
If anyone can explain to me as to how this chain has survived for-this-long, I’d love to hear from you.
By the way, I suspect that being open 24/7 and having very reasonable prices-has kept this Titanic from sinking…
I haven’t eaten in Dennys in years.
The last time I was in one (Boca Raton store at Palmetto Park Road), it was late at night and there were maybe 6 people plus my 2 in the whole restauarant. It took forever to get the food.
The food was lousy and the service horrendous.
I think people go to Denny’s because most of them are open 24 hours. Their food is also cheap.
cheap and open late. no other possible reason.
Dennys is a great place if you are 19 years old, drunk as a skunk, out with friends and its 3am at night. Other than that scenario you have to be nuts to voluntarily eat in one.
Cheap and open late.
That’s the reason.
Ive ordered that SlamBurger. You are right it didn’t taste as good as the picture.
Reason I and my wife went to a Denny’s, it was around 1am and verything else was closed.
Bad service. Food not too good.
That was a couple years ago we haven’t been back since.
You got this one figured right. Late hours cheap prices. People will accept crap because of those two factors.
I stopped going to Denny’s 15 years ago.
Denny’s is like McDonalds. CRAP.
I have not been to Dennys in years and the last time was due to the fact there was nothing else open in Thanksgiving and i was in the middle of a kitchen remodel is was terrible but i felt sorry for those there by choice. They have since closed and something new is going in that location.
Stopped going about 15 years ago. Every time I left I got the worst stomach pain so never went back.
About 10 years ago my 14 year old son and I were coming home to Boca from a Heat game. We got to Boca about midnight and every place but Denny’s was long closed. This is the Denny’s at Glades and 441. We walked in and there were maybe four other people in the restaurant. The waitress promptly took our order which was for a couple of cheeseburgers and french fries and we then proceeded to sit there waiting for our food for a good 40 minutes. Absolutely shocking as to how long the food took to come out. The burgers and ff were fair but nothing more. That was the last time that either one of us ever set foot in a Dennys.
