Jeff, I remember every item.
Loved Fran Allison.
I sure do remember.
My home phone number in Brooklyn in 1956 was GEdney 8-7635.
Our exchange was Murray Hill, MU.
Like it was yesterday.
Never liked Smith Brothers Black Cough Drops. LOVED the CHERRY flavored ones.
My phone number in the 60s was IN95979
I attended PS 139 in Brooklyn I graduated and when to Ditmas JHS in 1960. In the 6th grade I was a mimeograph monitor. I use to help run the machine. Fond great memories.
Loved all the childhood memories… especially Kukla, Fran and Ollie!!!
Thanks for the flashback – so much safer and more fun than drugs.
Remember like it was yesterday my father giving me a Motoral transistor radio for my 12th birthday.
My exchange was BUkminster.
Jeff
I use to buy those reinforcements for my loose leafs like crazy.
Hadn’t thought about those little suckers in years.
Thank you.
JEFF –
Yesterday in Staples I checked the back to school section – Sure enough – Reinforcements were in stock – No licking – Only pressure sensitive – Poly vinyl – $2.49 –
