* Disco Mania.

For sure, South Florida in recent years has had its fair share of 1950’s-1960’s oldies- shows…that said, if you do some checking–you’ll find that the “area” really hasn’t had too many “1970’s disco” shows. No question-there are a -load of Abba and Bee Gees’ tribute bands that have come through…but very few shows that actually featured legendary disco artists…

Way back on August 19, 2013 I told you guys about Disco Mania…that’s set for Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Coral Springs Center For The Arts…

The show features LEGENDARY PERFORMERS…TAVARES– THE TRAMMPS–FRANCE JOLI–MONTI ROCK III–MUSIQUE.

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats are “going” to Disco Mania… we can’t wait to see these acts in action– really looking forward to meeting them at the “Meet & Greet” after the show.

There are a few seats left.

Printed below is the original August 19, 2013 article which has all of the details on the show/tickets.

BY THE WAY…if you buy your tickets online…type in the passcode “MANIA” and you’ll get 15% off the ticket price.

See you guys there!

* DISCO MANIA.

Back on August 19, 2013–I told you guys about Disco Mania-(March 16, 2014)) that was coming to the Coral Springs Center For The Arts.

The original “article” is printed below.

I just checked the box-office and a handful of really good seats are still available.

Trust Jeff Eats on this…

I have seen all of the groups on the “bill” and each and everyone of them–puts on a great show.

No question in my mind, Disco Mania is going to be a fabulous concert.

Anyway…

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats have this one on our calendar…

* Joey Dale’s Disco Show (Coral Springs)

Here’s a heads-up for you guys…

On Sunday Night–March 16, 2014 Joey Dale (yes! the same Joey Dale who is the lead singer of doo wop group- Joey Dale & The Gigolos) is producing a Disco Show at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, 2855 Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs, Florida 33065, (954) 344-5990…starring—Tavares (“She’s Gone”-”It Only Takes A Minute”-”Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel”), The Trammps (“Disco Inferno”), Mystique, France Jolie (“Come To Me) and Joey Dale & The Gigolos’ tribute to Donna Summer and The Village People.

Jeff Eats knows that it’s August 19, 2013…but you do know that early birds catch the first worms, dont’cha?

Keep an eye on Joey Dale & the Gigolos’ site www.joeydale.com and www.coralspringscenterforthearts.com for show/ticket info.

No question in my mind that this “thing” is gonna sell-out…

So! there is no reason why you guys (who wanna go)- shouldn’t get the best seats in the house- as soon as Joey and the theatre put- tickets on sale

    Jeff, this is a very strong lineup. Should be a very good show.

  2. Ron F says...

    Tavares and France Joli were terrific. Mustique and The Trammps were good but Joli and Tavares had the crowd going nuts.

  3. PB (Boca Raton) says...

    Really enjoyed the show.

  4. My wife and I and another couple saw the show last night. It was so much fun. Many in the audience came in disco garb. The crowd from start to finish was up dancing. All of the acts were very good but I have to tell you that Joli and Tavares were absolutely sensational. The sounded just like their records and were great with the crowd. Joey dale put on a great show. His spoof on the Village People at the start was very clever.
    Looking forward to his next production.

      I really enjoyed all of the performances, but I have to tell you that France Joli and Tavares absolutely killed.
