Jeff Eats literally just got this press release.

I know it’s dated April 30, 2013—but Jeff Eats just got it…and it’s still not too late to get “early bird” tickets.

This “one” sounds like it could be an awesome event…

All the “beer” and “burgers” your stomach can handle for 40 bucks—while you party with 1,999 of your dearest and closest friends.

For those who don’t know, PGA National Resort & Spa is a world class hotel/resort located in Palm Beach Gardens.

I’ll do some “snooping” around and get you guys more intricate details…like who the beer-burger players will be!

One final thought–last year’s best burger winner Chuck Burger Joint will be “back”- so, we know that at least one of the players is top shelf..catch Jeff Eats’ 9/30/11 review for this joint–in 2011 its food and decor were absolute dynamite.

  4. Jamie Robinson says...

PGA is a top notch resort.
Any event they hold will be first class.
I have been to a number of Burger Battles around the area and some were good and some weren’t the best. What separates the events is the sponsor and how they run things.
I am definitely going to PGA’s.
No question in my mind that this will be a well run event.

  5. Ronnie says...

Jeff, they have a very nice list of participating restaurants. I have been to 111 Forks, Chuck Burger, Burger Heaven, The Office, Burger Bar and they are all terrific. The one name that really sticks out for me is Hogsnappers. I love love love that place. Oh, by the way for at least once a month for the past 8 years or so I’ve picked up chickens and sides from CR Chicks. Their food is delicious.

  6. Brian (WPB) says...

    A quick question for you?
Are any of the girls from Rachel’s going to be there?

    • JeffEats says...

      Lou Caster:

Just had a chance to read your comments.
To answer your question, I sure hope so but don’t tell Mrs. Jeff Eats, I said so!

      Thanks for reading…

  11. Janet R says...

Jeff: this one will be the first “battle” for me and my husband. We live about 10 minutes away from the resort and have been there before and after its recent reconstruction. It is a gorgeous classy resort and as you and others have mentioned this burger event will be done (pun intended) just right.
We are really looking forward to a great afternoon.

  12. Susan Gorman says...

    The restaurant list looks great.
Since this is outdoors, we will buy our tkts the day of the event. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
