  6. Put me down for Silver Pond in Lauderdale Lakes. The food is amazing, the portions HUGE and the prices LOW. It’s always jammed.

Gary Woo’s Express, not the full restaurant on Fed Hwy but the takeout on Yamato Road in Boca has terrific food. They also have a handful of tables inside and out. Two different owners.

    • frank w says...

Right. The one on Yamato is excellent while the one on Federal stinks. Who is the owner of Express?

        frank w:
Gary Woo owned both Fed Hwy and Yamato Road. The one on Yamato about 8 months ago was sold to a Chinese couple who now have no connection to Woo. They have terrific food, but so far haven’t changed the name which is a big mistake, because many think that the stores are still connected to each other.

        • Joey Bombasco says...

You are 100% correct, the Yamato store has really delicious food. It is no longer owner by Gary Woo. Tried it twice and both times the food was just right. have tried egg dop soup, won ton soup, gener tsos chicken, ribs, egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken, pepper steak.

        • frank w says...

As I mentioned somewhere else the manager told me that they are both owned by Gary. My guess is that they are not telling the truth thinking tht the Woo name has some value.
