First of all I call them hoagies. So my favorite hoagies can be found at Big Foot in Dania Beach. They make a mild sausage/grilled onions/mushrooms hoagie that is second to none.
Depending on what kind of sub we are talking.
My favorite Philly cheese steak comes from the sub place in the festival flea mkt food court. I think it’s called Philly Experience. As good as Pats in Philly.
Best La Spadas, however still not like some of the good places I had in NY. Sometimes Laspadas toppings are not great and they are pretty limited with them. They go through hundreds of gallons of Mayo there every day (so it seems) Im not big on mayo. What amazes me is at Laspada you can order a $10.00 sub and they charge you .10 cents more for whole wheat bread. Are they nuts? I could not imagine telling that to customers. I see people go into Laspadas wanting all these menu modifications and stuff. The answer is always no. I will try and give V & S a shot when I am around there.
The best sub I have had in Fl. Is a small place in Ft. lauderdale by the executive airport on commercial blvd . Called Major League Heros . I work at the airport this place is great .you know if all the Cops & Firemen go there all the Time it must be good . The best 12″ Italian Sub I have ever had in Fl. I just wish this place was open on weekends!!
My name is Jeff. I was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. Since 1991, I have lived in South Florida and have eaten in so many restaurants down here, that I now consider myself to be a food expert.

V&S in Boca. Everything they make is terrific.
I’d match Super Subs in Miami against any sub place in the area. Super Subs makes a cordon bleu sub that is totally amazing.
Put me down for Bozo’s burger sub (Ft Lauderdale) and LaSpada’s chicken salad sub (Lauderdale by the Sea).

My Market, 17th Street west of the railroad tracks, Fort Lauderdale. Try the Roast Beef Italiano.
LaSpadas is the best.
V&S is a close second.
Both are in Boca Raton.

Philly Experience is pretty good. Bread is from Philly. Big Als now in Delray is even better IMHO.
Rob
Davies Sub in Davie makes great subs.
V & S for me.
V&S best by far. Thalia’s second. La Spada one of the worst.
1. V & S
2. La Spada
3. Talia’s Table
Sonny’s Famous Steak Hogies (Hollywood)
Le Sandwicherie (South Beach)
Mr. Nick’s in Fort Lauderdale is the best. I’d match it Philly cheesesteak sub against anybody’s.
Under The Sun Subs in Pompano Beach.
Incredible subs.
