***** Nosher’s Deli, 7134 North Nob Hill Road, Tamarac, Florida 33321, (954) 642-5225.

Got a real good “bagel-deli” joint for you…Nosher’s Deli in Tamarac. You can check menu/prices at www.noshersdeli.com.

If you are over the age of 13 months, you know exactly how this “concept” works… formica tables galore, breakfast & lunch Monday-Thursday 7:30am-3pm, breakfast/lunch/dinner Friday-Sunday 7:30am-8pm—14 types of in house baked bagels—all types of breakfast stuff served all day—soups—sandwiches—burgers—salads—“special” entrees.

For the record, over the past 3 months I “did” 1-breakfast and 1-lunch. Real simple, really enjoyed the western omelette and everything bagel that I had—for $5.99 which included coffee, this was a super-duper bargain. On the lunch end, I “tried” pastrami on rye ($7.99), corned beef on rye ($7.99), chicken salad on rye toast ($6.75) and a bowl of matzo ball soup ($2.99)—everything was A-OK.

Just so we are straight…Nosher’s Deli is a BAGEL-DELI joint. Like most of its brethern, it turns out decent reasonably priced stuff—with the word “reasonably” being the operative word here. For what it’s worth, Nosher’s Deli is located virtually in Kings Point- a gigantic senior citizen community. The bet here, the crowds that were there on my outings, were probably 70-80% seniors. Got nothing against seniors–but I do want you to know the game that is being played here. Good–not great stuff—at very reasonable prices.

So…to sum things up–a real good, reasonably priced bagel-deli joint.

    Jeff,
My eldery parents live In Kings Point. Dad just turned 87 and mom is 85. I live in Delray and visit at least 3 times a week. One of their favorite breakfast/lunch places is Nosher’s.
You hit the nail on the head, decent food and very fair prices.

The New Nosher’s Deli opened Saturday May 12th and the place looks great. The Formica tables are gone and replaced with beautiful Granite Tables, both square and round for larger groups. The place has been cleaned up and there is now a nicely stocked Deli case. They hand carve all their meats, their soups and all their salads are home made. Their new staff is exceptional alwasy eager to please. Your greeted and served with smiles on all the staffs faces. The new owners have put great emphasis on quality. No National Deli brand meats are served, Only their own Corned Beef, Pastrami, Brisket and off the frame Turkey. Hebrew National hot dogs, salami and bologna. The Nova, Lox and White Fish are to die for and all hand sliced. They have an excellent selection of baked goods as well. Black & Whites, Rugelach both regular and no sugar added and Linzer Tarts to name a few. If you think it was good before you need to check out The New Nosher’s Deli. You will be blown away by the quality and friendly atmosphere.

Just had a chance to read your comments.

    Two simple questions for you?

    1. How in the world would Jeff Eats based on an e-mail know that “John” is a former employee?
    2. How in the world would Jeff Eats based on an e-mail know that Beth Zedeck is the “Owner The New Nosher’s Deli.”

    Thanks for reading…

I always read your reviews and find them helpful and great.  I wonder if you could help me and pass this to Nosher’s as the website on their site is wrong?

    Dear Sir:

I was in your store at 2.50 PM on Saturday and purchase appetizers.  I spent $35.65 and had to throw out all but 2 items.

Sable Smelly, must have been frozen and thawed.  Just a pile of MUSH.
Baked Salmon, on the turn.  Just ready to throw out, smelly.
    Herring.  OK.
    Nova.  OK.

I can’t believe you would sell food like this.  I know the older man that sliced the sable showed you it was mush.  Needless to say I would not recommend your place and warn others to steer clear.

Nosher’s Deli is a fantastic deal. Had the best corned beef ruben sandwich since NYC. Prices are great, food is excellent. I recommend this restaurant in Tamarac Florida .
