To make what could be a long story a short one…delicious raisin bread french toast and belgian waffles—also really enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger and philly cheesesteak sub–they call it a hoagie, but I’m from New Yooork!
You regular readers know, I love the “mom & pop” diners of the world. If you’re like me, you will really enjoy Center Street Nook.
Center Street Nook is open Monday-Saturday 7am-9pm, Sunday 7am-2pm.
No kidding around, it just dawned on me why this joint’s name has the word NOOK in it!
AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEM LETTING MY DAUGHTER GO WHO HAD WORKED THERE SINCE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS ( 4YRS) AND SHE WAS ONLY GIVEN A COUPLE OF SHIFTS AND THEY TOOK THEM AWAY FROM A HARD WORKING, BEAUTIFUL, SWEET LOVING AND CARING PERSON THAT HAS A FAMILY TO HELP SUPPORT AND GAVE HER TWO MEASLY SHIFTS TO THE OWNERS TEEN-AGED GIRLS WHO DON’T HAVE A FAMILY AND BIG BILLS TO PAY…. MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE WHO PUT DOLLAR SIGNS IN FRONT OF GOOD PEOPLE WHO NEED AND DESERVE IT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
