This review is about Japango an “Asian Fusion” joint which opened a couple of weeks ago in Boca Raton…there is another Japango located in Parkland, same owner, same menu, same prices…but I haven’t been to that one.

This is a very easy review to write…Japango has delicious-moderatley priced food. Last night I “sampled” in no particular order—bbq ribs, chicken teriyaki, stir fried noodels, fried rice, miso seafood soup, shrimp tempura…like I said before– delicious. I will tell you, that the bbq ribs and fried rice were as good if not better, than the top stuff I have eaten down here in Chinese restaurants.
Japango is an upscale looking joint, but the tee shirt-shorts ensemble works. The menu has a great combination of Japanese, Chinese, Thai items…so if you aren’t a sushi eater, you are covered.
Word of mouth…I have heard that the Japango in Parkland is also a dynamite restaurant—always packed. that joint is located at 7387 North State Road 7, Parkland, Florida 33073, (954) 345-4268.
Japango is open Monday-Thursday 11:30am-10pm, Friday 11:30am-10:30pm, Saturday 4:30pm-10:30pm, Sunday 4:30pm-9:30pm.
We live in Boca and have for the past several years been driving to Parkland to eat at Japango. Not a huge trip but still a drive. The new location is identical to the Parkland spot in the food department. These two Japangos serve excellent food. Great selection and service. We highly recommend them.
ive been going to parkland for several years and have always loved it. I tried boca when it first opened a couple months ago. at least then, parklands quality was much superior. i havent been to boca location since because i really did not enjoy my meal that time.
Long Time Big Fan of Parkland Japango. Tried the Boca restaurant last week and found it to be just as good.
thought the food in boca was decent enough. have also eaten in parkland and thought it was better than boca. guess it depends on who the chef is.

my favorite japanese is blue fin in boca raton.

There are some dishes on the menu at Japango in Boca Raton that are excellent by any standards
try the tuna pizza, to die for and they have a new dish which i’ve tried in new york and california but japangos is by far the best and at half the price and they have a early dinner special thats the best deal in town and endless selection and big portions. my favorite for many years and i’ve tried other places here and there but always go back and appreciate it more so i dont even try anymore and if you want a really special meal off the menu, ask for the kevin special

Until Monday night my wife and I were very good customers of the Boca location.
On Monday night my wife ordered and picked up an order of various sushi. When she got the pickup home we found every item rancid, spoiled and smelling disgusting.
She returned everything and we will never buy from Japango ever again.

Use to love this joint.
Last couple of times my takeout wasn’t all that good.
I am really starting to question the freshness of what they make.
Took out food from Boca and it was spoiled.
Owner gave me a hard time on refund.
Stay away.
Ate ate at Boca restaurant and food was just passable.
