Laspada’s is a “sub-grinder-hoagie-heroes”!(or whatever you call them) joint. There are currently 3 South Florida locations…Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Davie and Coral Springs. The Lauderdale joint is the original location…I must have gotten stuff there at least 20 times…I have also been to the Coral Springs location twice…Never been to the Davie store.
The guys who own Laspada’s are “masters” at making phenomenal-fantastic hoagies. Take a look at Laspada’s website at www.laspadashoagies.com for menu/pricing…also take a look at the photos of the stores and sandwiches being made.
If you want to eat absolutely incredible stuff, then you absolutely want to get to a Laspada’s. The joints are open 7-days a week for lunch and dinner. Keep in mind, that there is very limited seating and the game is primarily takeout.
I finally went to Laspada’s today in Coral Springs. It is a hole in the wall in an old shopping plaza on West Sample in Coral Springs. My brother told me previously they are the best. Once I saw this on the jeff blog, I had to give it a try. Two large roast beef subs ran $22.00 with tax which aint cheap. Not to mention 11 cents extra for wheat bread? These subs were great. The absolute freshest bread and toppings you will find anywhere. The best tomatoes etc. The people working there are not your normal airheads at Subway or Quiznos. These guys know what they are doing and they do it well and fast. They remind me a little like some young NY deli guys.They had a guy cutting meat for all the subs to order. Not tossing precut meat in a cooler. Another very good sub place in in Sawgrass area/West Sunrise Blvd. called Sharpies Subs. I think one notch below laspadas but very good. At 2Pm Sat afternoon they were busy. I know they open early on a NFl sunday. The place must be jumping.

First time at a Laspada. Tried the new Boca location. I just finished a large 12″ chicken salad sub with you name it on it and it was incredible. The thing must have weighed a lb. Great fresh bread. The whole deal was $9.25 and there was enough for 2 people.

I love chicken salad, the more mayo the better. Throw in a ton of sweet onions and I’m in heaven.. Yesterday I had a large chicken salad sub at Boca store and there was so much chicken salad that there was enough for 2 people to eat. It was one of the best chicken salad sandwiches that I have ever eaten.
Just finished eating a crabmeat salad hoagie at Boca Laspada. Delicious.
yesterday i was a poll worker in boca at firehouse on glades road. fireman and ems guys picked up sandwiches from laspada. they also picked up food for poll workers. amazing good tuna sub. it weighed a ton and the large was huge enough to feed 3 of us. had never had before. sensational.
first time today at boca raton laspada’s. had a large meatball on whole wheat sub. this was one of the best subs i’ve had.

Fabulous huge delicious sandwiches. Going to cost you $10 or so for a large but there is enough to feed 3 people easily.

I seriously doubt that there are too many other sub joints that make such great sandwiches.
LaSpada is good but V&S is excellent
Got food from Boca spot about an hour ago. Great sandwich. Enough to feed at least 2. Lousy spot.

Fantastic large subs.
No kidding around, first time at Laspada and I couldn’t believe the weight of my sandwich. There must have been a lb of meat.
The sandwich was big enough for 2 people to share.

Been going to the location in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea since 1980. Best darn sub in SF. Pity they still don’t use Boars Head meat. Never met anyone who didn’t love their sandwiches. They just opened a new shop on SE 17th St Causeway in the old Publix shopping center. Same fantastic sandwiches.

I use to work in Coral Springs. The subs at that loc. were amazing. I am now working in Boca and the Boca location is also amazing. For 10 bucks or so you get a sub that must weight 3 lbs and can easily feed 2 people.
