Just got this e-mail…
Now nothing for nothing, Jeff Eats did some checking–and this “particular” e-mail has been circulating since 2004. Based on my research, it would seem that “we” aren’t about to be overloaded with tons of telemarketer-calls. That said, every so often—some telemarketer “calls” Jeff Eats and either gets me–live or leaves a message. To be perfectly honest with you guys, I really don’t need or want these calls…so rumor or not, Jeff Eats just “registered” his and Mrs. Jeff Eats’ cell-phone numbers with the National Do Not Call registry.
Consider this “maybe” a public service announcement!

Hey Jeff,
A number of years I signed up to block my home landlines from telemarketers calling. It seemed to have work for awhile, but recently I get tons of calls from this people. They include all kinds or prerecorded sales pitches, surveys and other crap. These calls come in all day long and well into the night hours. This nonsense is absurd. Any idea why these landline calls started again? By the way thanks for the cell phone info. I just called and put my cell phone on the do not call list. Who the hell needs telemarketers calling cell phones using up valuable time and minutes? Not me!
