Jeff Eats recently ran 2 contests both to win 2- tickets to: Tommy James & The Shondells and The Grass Roots. Jeff Eats has winners for both of those contests. The show is set for June 11, 2016 (8pm) at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater. For you guys who want to buy tickets- theamppompano.org and goldstar.com (discount tickets).
This morning, the kind folks at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater gave Jeff Eats 2- more tickets to give to you guys! For those not so good at math, this is the third contest for 2-tickets!

Just a personal Jeff Eats’ observation…Tommy James & The Shondells and The Grass Roots are “imho” two of the greatest 60’s Rock N Roll bands! If you are into this kinda- music, you really do owe it to yourself to go-to this concert. Jeff Eats has seen both bands’ current ” player lineups” and I am telling you- both are absolutely terrific. The legendary 60’s Rock N Roll bands Tommy James & The Shondells and The Grass Roots are set to play the Pompano Beach Amphitheater- Saturday, June 11th (8pm).

If you guys can keep a secret, Tommy James & The Shondells and The Grass Roots are two of Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats’ favorite bands of all time. Just so you know, we saw both bands in “action” late last year and they absolutely killed! These guys got so many hits between them, that it’s scary…just for starters- songs like Temptation Eyes, Hanky Panky, Mony Mony, Sooner or Later, I’d Wait A Million Years, Crystal Blue Persuasion, Draggin’ The Line, I Think We’re Alone Now- kept both bands on the top of the charts for years!
Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats can’t wait to see this concert!

Just heard about Jeff Eats last night at a friend’s Passover Seder in Hallandale Beach.
This morning I read through a load of your past columns and really enjoyed many of them. I and my wife are both 61 and have lived in South Florida for over 22 years. We are familar with many of your ‘joints’.
Two of your best picks Dandee Donuts and Burgers & Suds are two of our all time favorites.
We are huge fans of The Grass Roots. We also like Tommy James but not anywhere near The Grass Roots’ level. Sorry we missed out on the contest but I just bought through goldstar.com 4 Tickets. By the way, neither my wife or I had ever heard of goldstar.com until I read your stories on it.
We have been to the Pompano Amphitheater twice in all the years that we have lived in Florida. I really didn’t know as to how many great shows it puts on until I read your site.
By the way, both the wife and I were born and bred In The Bronx with a 15 year stop over in Marlboro NJ before Florida. We currently live in Lighthouse Point.
