Charm City Burger Company (Deerfield Beach)

Charm City is a fast-food burger joint. It has been in business for about 3 months and looks like a charming cross between a 1950’s fast-food restaurant and a Greenwich Village coffeehouse. I ate dinner last night and the burger-fries were delicious as was the crabcake on a bun.
Charm City has 2 BIG PROBLEMS…its signage stinks. If you aren’t looking for the joint—you are not finding the joint. In addition, its location on a City Street in Deerfield Beach is absolutely horrendous.
If Charm City was in South Beach, it would be a goldmine. Location, location, location.
If you live in Deerfield Beach or are in the area, Charm City is a good place for a fast-food lunch or dinner. It is open 7 days a week.

Boy you really get around! I am exhausted just reading all the places you go. I know I mentioned this before but you HAVE HAVE HAVE to go the Las Brisas on hollywood beach. It is the best!! Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
My husband and I ate there last night and we are still talking about it. BTW its closed on mondays… you will not regret it. ALSO

I have never never had a bad meal there. Excellant in every way… try the signature “celebrity clubs” you wont be disappointed. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
amy: Just read your post. Las Brias is on my “checkout list.” As for Flashback, I have eaten there many times and I agree with you, that it is very good. By the way, before jeffeats “crashed,” Flashback had a full writeup.

When I reviewed Charm City back in 4/08, I gave it a pretty good writeup. I really enjoyed the food. My one “problem” was the signage-location, but that’s the owner’s problem not mine.
I note that the joint is now under new management. I took a look at the new website (www.charmcityburgers.com) and menu and I like what I see. Looks like some real good stuff is being served.
I can tell you, that a number of people in recent days have told me that they have tried the “new” Charm City and that the food was terrific.
I am planning on “trying” Charm City again. After that “meal” I’ll update my original writeup.

I have eaten in Charm City exactly twice. Once when it first opened and once under the new owners. Both times the burgers and fries were great. Hope they make it because the food is really good. The location isn’t the greatest but with the right word of mouth Charm could develop a real big following. Good luck to the new owners.
The burgers and fries are incredible. The new owners are making great food. Right up there with the best around.
