Just a taste…

This unrehearsed performance was recorded a few years ago at Kings Point Golf & Country Club in Delray Beach as Michael D’Amore walked out of the venue’s theater to greet the crowd in the lobby!

From bocablackbox.com:

Singer and songwriter Michael D’Amore was born in upstate N.Y. and raised and resided in New Jersey for most of his life. Coming from a musical family, it wasn’t a surprise that his passion would eventually become his livelihood.

For 35 years, Michael has been a professional entertainer hailing from The New York metropolitan area. Michael’s performances cover several genres with special attention devoted to harmony, which is one of his passions.

Michael currently performs as a one man show showcasing the very best of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and more. He is also a member of The Capris and proud to sing lead on the their hits “There’s A Moon Out Tonight” and “Morse Code Of Love” for music fans around the world. In his career, he has had the pleasure of being part of JT Carter’s Crests, (JT is the original Bass vocalist and founding member of The Crests) a Blue-Eyed soul show partnering him with Blues Hall of Famer Angel Rissoff and proud to have played keyboards and sing behind Jim Yester, original and founding member of The Association. Most recently Michael was featured on the PBS special Doo Wop Pop and Soul produced by TJ Lubinsky.

In recent years he has opened for and shared the stage with groups such as The Stylistics, Lou Christie, John Cafferty, The Loving Spoonful, Tony Orlando, Kenny Vance and the Planotones and so many groups he has admired over the years.

In 2012, his CD “In Harmony” was met with great success. “This is a labor of love and such a great source of pride.” In Harmony was special because Michael played and sang every part on this CD which was something he always wanted to do. In 2017 he completed his “My Favorite Melody” album in honor of his daughter which is still available today and an expected My Favorite Melody Vol II to be released soon. Most recently Michael was awarded the 2021 Top-Ten award for best New Country Song for his composition “Substituted Reality.”

Michael continues to strive for perfection in his craft and will always measure his level of success by the number of smiles in his audiences.
