    We are still all overtaxed and over regulated. The Fed’s cannot really track cash, that’s why they want a cashless society…

    The fee to the credit card company (2% or so) as well as taxes.

      The owner is pocketing the collected sales tax.

    1) Cash only is to avoide the processing fee for using a credit card.
    2) Food only means that there’s no discount for drinks (usually) a higher profit then food).
    3) Dine In only – that’s the kicker. bevause you’ll order drinks for sure and that builds the bill.

    By taking in cash there are less records and those collected sales tax also end up in the owner’s pocket.
