I don’t like to make a response on others who leave comments but here I go …
When I was a kid my father served in the army in the 2nd world war. All my grandparents came from other places and became proud US citizens and embraced the US and the culture. Their love for this country would bring tears to your eyes.
Whether Japanese or Nazi’s the country came together. Is there Islamic terrorism – yes. But it sure does seem that the government doesn’t give a crap and wants to be politically correct and not upset the apple cart.
Unless we all fight terrorism from inside we will lose.
Schools don’t teach much US history these days unless it is negative – Pearl Harbor and the start of WWII is barely covered. It is a shame. The US is portrayed as a horrible country for dropping the bomb – never a mention about how many US soldiers had their lives saved by those two events. Horrible – yes but with all candor why should US blood be spilled when other options (the bomb) was available.
Don’t know what Jeff thinks but for good measure the US should have dropped an atomic bomb on Berlin for good measure although the Germans had already surrendered.
My name is Jeff. I was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. Since 1991, I have lived in South Florida and have eaten in so many restaurants down here, that I now consider myself to be a food expert.

Time to get off my soapbox now.
