Luigi’s Real Italian Ice (Publix Super Markets)
Luigi’s Real Italian Ice.
Can’t recall as to exactly when it all began, but Jeff Eats seemingly forever has been a gigantic fan of Italian Ices!
Long story short, yesterday I purchased at Publix (Yamato Road & Jog Road) a 6-pack of Luigi’s Real Italian Cherry Ice and a 6-pack of Luigi’s Real Italian Lemon & Strawberry Ice priced at $2.10 per pack- and I gotta tell you, maybe in a “pinch or something”- but on a regular basis, I Don’t Think So! Purely subjective call- to Jeff Eats’ trained Italian Ices palate, the water ices were way too smooth and the flavors didn’t come close to tasting like the fruits they said they were!
For those of you guys who dare to question Jeff Eats’ taste- luigis.com.
Jeff,
I’ve had Luigi’s and its ices are just ok. You recently recommended Lindy’s and its Cherry and Lemon run circles around Luigi’s. So far I’ve only seen Lindy’s in Walmart in our area.
Try Rita’s in West Palm and Royal Palm. Water Ice is the way to go!
I’ve eaten Luigi’s ices and they are crap.
I’ve tried lindys lemon which you recently recommended and it was dynamite.
Problem, only Walmart carries lindys.
Had the cherry the other night and it wasn’t good.
