McDonald’s $2 Triple Cheeseburger
* McDonald’d $2 Triple Cheeseburger.
This “burger” is McDonald’s latest promotional item.
Just look at that-thing! Personally, I’d pay McDonald’s 2-bucks not to make me eat that burger.
YET- McDonald’s corporate executives claim to be mystified as to why the fast food chain is losing market share each and every day!
I saw this commercial three times last night and each time said to myself what a disgusting looking cheeseburger that is. The marketing folks at McDonalds must be morons.
That thing looks nasty.
I am a shareholder of the world’s largest restaurant chain McDonalds for over 2 decades and I’m lovin’ it!! Great dividend that increases every year, fantastic fries and we as a planet have an insashable appetite of tasty bad for you foods…. I do believe that they need to offer breakfast 24-7 though. Easy Runnings, Azure

Here’s an idea you can send into McDonald’s Headquarters.
Take the real estate that the Company owns and place it into REIT.
Have an operating company and a REIT. Two different stocks.
Your stock that’s sitting around $93 would probably be worth (combined 2 companies) something like $600 maybe even more.
Thanks for reading…
Jeff, that is a brilliant and well thought-out idea. With almost 4000 corporate owned restaurants they could create shareholder value and pay a HUGE dividend. Also, it would change the negative Wall Street view of McDonald’s as not being progressive. Great Blog!!

And you thought Jeff Eats was just another good looking food blogger!
Thanks for reading…
Jeff has a tremendous idea there.
MCD owns almost all of its properties.
MCD carries the properties all at the cost that they were bought for.
The appreciation on those properties is TREMENDOUS.
Jeff is right, create a REIT for the real estate. Create a second company for the operating/franchise business.
The two stocks would left what each business is really worth.
Jeff said $600 maybe even more. I agree.
Turner, these are the latest McDonald’s announced numbers: As of December 31, 2013, it operated 35,429 restaurants, including 28,691 franchised and 6,738 company-operated restaurants….
“Insatiable”
Disgusting.
That picture summarizes McDonald’s products.
Garbage.
