Jeff,
What qualifies you to be a food blogger whose taste should be followed?

Mark Singer:
Just had a chance to read your comment.
I was born in 1949.
For as long as I can remember-“THIS” was and still is -the best fast food restaurant in the United States…and that’s why I am qualified to be a food blogger whose taste should be followed.
While I whole-heartedly agree with the WAS…when you see “Now Serving Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs and Fries” at the front of your local K-Mart store, you might start to question the IS…
As far as your qualifications for being a food blogger – Everyone who can eat and spell has the qualifications to be a food blogger…The question is will anybody read it.
I think your 15,000 hits per month will corroborate that!
Thanks again!

Notice I wrote THIS was and still is- referring to the Nathan’s in Coney Island.
Thanks for reading…
Jeff
I’m with you on Nathan’s in Coney Island being terrific.
As a kid back in the 50’s I remember going there with my parents. I use to get 2 hot dogs, small fries, small orange drink for 70 cents. To this very day, the best fast food meal I can remember ever eating.
I always hate that “what qualifies you” comment toward food bloggers. Like there’s some sort of certification that qualifies someone to have an opinion on the food they put in their mouth.
We ALL eat. If you don’t like the bloggers opinion don’t read it. It’s as easy as not typing their domain name into your browser.
Jeff,
I read in Boca Life Magazine that you have 15,000 readers a month.
I guess somebody thinks you are qualified.
Love the site and many of your picks.
Jeff has one of the best ever day food blogs in America.
Just look at the range of topics he covers.
He also gets readers personally involved in his reviews.
He discusses food and all kinds of things.
Reading what he writes actually gets the reader thinking unless most critics who see things as just black and white.
