Love the Golden Corral in Margate, great selection.
Sweet Tomatoes in Boca is terrific.
For a cheap all-you-can-eatery, try the Isle Buffet, at Pompano racino. It’s layed out like Golden Corral, and the food’s as good — plus you’re at the track/casino.
If you want to eat all you can, and impress at the same time, try Chima, a rodizio-style restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Just make sure your wallet’s a little deeper.
The Seminole Casino in Coconut Dreek has the Harvest Buffet. Excellent.
Save money, get Player’s Club Card and it ones with a discount.
I have not been to Harvest in Coconut Creek in a while but the lesser buffets in Vegas are miles better than Harvest. First the employees that work the buffet for the most part are working on Island time. They don’t know a thing about food, or cooking.
One morning they had a line of people on only one working waffle maker. On another occasion-no coffee cups. They were using paper. A real lack of management as well. For what you get there, its no great deal. They kept raising the price of the brunch and they are always trying to get more money on “holidays and such.
Suggest you look at some of the reviews of Golden Corral on Trip Advisor. For example, the branch at Pompano is rated the worst of those visited by one observer. Yet that at Tamarac is a place one reviewer “wouldn’t take my dog to”. Not sure this rates as “GOOD”, and the fact that there is a branch in Pigeon Forge surely sums up this chain. But maybe the branch in Margate, that Sid loves, is a culinary oasis?
Don’t know about other locations but the food in Margate is delicious.

HomeTown Buffet in Davie is clean, cheap and has a tremendous selection of food.

Trust me, the GC on 441 and Sample Rd has very good food. Just give it a shot and you will definitely go back many times.
Do you take your visiting guests there?
I and my wife eat there quite frequently.
My grown kids also like it.

Hey fellow, each to there own. I like it. If you don’t like it, don’t go there. All I know is that the food is good and the price is right.
Sweet Tomatoes is pretty decent for what they offer. They have pretty active management in Boca. That place can get busy.

maybe the tourists should be so cheap and skip these doggie food chains and support local mom and pop business that take pride in not feeding a herd of cattle
