I am looking for some good places to eat and dance with music 50′s – 80′s. No
rap, etc. Anywhere from Palm Beach to Miami works with a special emphasis in
the Fort Lauderdale area.
I just found one of your reviews and enjoyed reading it..
Michael Baron:
Just had a chance to read your comments.
To get you started, check-out Café Vincenzo in Margate (reviewed 7/22/12).
Thanks for reading…
Jeff,
Good call on Vincenzo’s. They have some great oldies/doo wop music on Thursdays-Saturdays. Food also pretty decent.
Try NY Steak at the Seminole Casino, the lounge on weekends has some great bands.
NY Steak is a great idea. The lounge has loads of good bands.
Kerry’s By The Sea in Hallandale Beach.
Paolo’s Café in Dania Beach.
The Big Easy in Fort Lauderdale always has terrific oldies bands. The food is terrific. Check Groupon they are always running a deal.
The Gypsy Horse Pub in Wellington. Real good bands.
Try the Pavilion in Boca.
In the Seminole Casino, The Sunset Grill has some really good groups.
Also check Nick’s in Fort Lauderdale.
Bobby Rubino’s also has music certain days in Pompano.
Don’t go to Nick’s for the Entertainment—it’s lame at best—and while we’re at it, why go for lame “Italian” food???
The Seagate Hotel in Delray Beach.
The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton always has tremendous bands.
New York Steak in the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek.
Café Vincenzo in Margate.
Gammaroff’s in Hallandale Beach.
City Pub in Deerfield Beach.
Great pick for you, Gammeroff’s in Hallandale Beach. food is terrific and guys like Joey Dale & The Gigolos work there at least once a week.
Nick’s Italian in Pompano Beach. Great food and great music. Been going there for years.
There is no Nick’s Italian in Pompano Beach!!
There is Frank’s Italian Restaurant, or Nick’s 8 miles away in Fort Lauderdale so I don’t know where you’ve been going for “years!”
1340 North Federal Highway Pompano Beach, FL
Nicks Restaurant in Pompano.
Even though I did not know they had entertainment.
The Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach has a full lineup of bands and performers that fit your list. You can watch and dance to them for free. You can eat in the buffet there.
cauley square in Miami has bands on fri and sat. it also has a handful of restaurants.
Sandy Parrot in Fort Myers is a great place.
The Stage in Bonita Springs is another great place.
Others here have mentioned the NYY Steakhouse in the Seminole Casino. It has a great lounge where top bands play. It’s free. You can eat elsewhere and dance in the lounge afterwards.
