ABOUT THE BANDS:

FIREFALL

For founder Jock Bartley, Firefall is a 40 year labor of love. Their layered harmonies backed by driving rhythms transcends many genres from rock to country to AC and brought the band platinum and gold success with such hits as “You Are The Woman,” “Strange Way” and “Just Remember I Love You.” Other major Firefall radio hits include “Cinderella,” “Goodbye I Love You,” “Livin’ Ain’t Livin” and “Mexico.” Extensive touring with Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, America and many others.
The genealogy and musical roots of Firefall run deep in the fertile soil of American Folk/Rock music. Defying industry labels, they melded country, folk, easy listening and rock ‘n’ roll, creating a sound uniquely their own, helping to define a generation and forever changing the landscape of contemporary music. One of the few surviving bands of their genre, Firefall has remained true to the founding vision throughout the band’s 30 year history. Firefall saturated the air waves with a string of Top 20 hits, earning two platinum and three gold records for their efforts. Their dynamic live performances gained them a huge and loyal fan base – one that continues to grow even now. In their current live shows, the band both nurtures and expands on their distinctive melodic sound. Their much loved hits are faithfully recreated with a freshness rare in live performances of such classics. With their newer material, they continue to demonstrate the diversity of the band’s musical excellence. In keeping with the times, the shows often include acoustic “mini sets”, which speak directly to their ever growing new generation of fans.

PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE (50th Anniversary)

2020 marks their 50th year as a band. Best known for their iconic #1 hit “Aimee,” Top 10 hits “Two Lane Highway,” “Let Me Love You Tonight,” “I’ll Fix Your Flat Tire Merle” and “Early Mornin’ Riser,” along with their classic Norman Rockwell inspired cowboy album covers, PPL bridged the gap between country and rock. Original members Mike Reilly (bass, vocals) and David Cahl (pedal steel) are joined by Donnie Clark (guitar, vocals), Randy Harper (keyboards, vocals) and Scott Thompson (drums, vocals).

  1. I saw Firefall a couple of years ago and it put on a great show. The lead singer isn’t an original member but the band still has the same style as when it was a top recording group in the 70s-80s.
