The Temptations & The Four Tops (Kravis Center- West Palm Beach)

Posted on January 23rd, 2015 · Music/Events/Other West Palm Beach

* The Temptations & The Four Tops.

Each group “only” has one original recording member in it…and that member wasn’t even close to being the group’s lead singer.

Time for The Temps and The Tops to call it a day!

    Jeff,
You couldn’t be more right on this one.
The Tops have 1 original as do the The Temps.
Neither of the surviving originals were lead singers.
I have seen both of these “new” versions and they aren’t very good.
In essence they are now just tribute bands.
The Temps and The Tops now out working would never have made it back in the day.
Save your money and buy their old CDs

    Saw these TEMPS on tv.
Otis should be embarrassed putting these guys on stage with him. Terrible vocally and they don’t look smooth like the The Temps always did.

I saw The Temptations when David Ruffin was the lead singer. It was back in the 60s. The group was at its best when he was the lead.

  4. Henry D says...

I’ve seen both of the current versions and they suck. Don’t waste your time or money.

I saw these groups on their 2015 WPB date and I thought they both sounded very good. (And I have been a professional musician and producer for over 20 years.)
