If this deli wasn’t inside a busy casino and was outside on the street it would be out of business. The food isn’t very good.

This place is one of the best in South Florida. I’ve been there maybe six times now and I’ve never had a bad experience. Looks clean as could be every time. Casinos have more money than they know what to do with, therefore their restaurants will never have issues like some of these comments suggest.

Jeff,
After watching the Burlesque Show at the Casino last night, my wife and I went to the deli. We got there about 10:30pm. The restaurant wasn’t very busy. The hostess looked totally bored and didn’t even greet us with a smile. All she said was “Follow me.”
I had a burger and my wife had a corned beef sandwich. The food is decent enough but nothing special.
The service was okay but also bordered on boredom. The restaurant doesn’t give off a welcoming feeling.
By the way the deli looks great but is definitely missing something.
The prices are on the high side.
If we hadnt gone to the show we definitely wouldnt make a special trip to eat at this deli.

My wife and I ate there last night. A pastrami and a Ruben with one soda tax and tip 35 bucks. Food was ok but bit pricey don’t you think?

Pomperdale ain’t what it used to be. Plus my yelp comment saying this was deleted which has never happened to me before. Can owners delete comments? My language was not abusive.

A friend had two yelp comments deleted. They were not about Pomperdale

Problem with this casino is that it stinks from smoke.
This deli is right in the middle of that smell.
I wouldn’t set foot in this casino.
