***** THE ULTIMATE THRILLER ‘THE’ MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE *****

Got a good one for you guys, that’s if you like Michael Jacskon…

Tomorrow morning (July 26, 2012) starting at 10am- Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) has an internet pre-sale for The Ultimate Thriller ‘The’ Michael Jackson Tribute—which is scheduled for Saturday Night, September 1, 2012 at 8pm at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. You must use the Code: THRILLER to get these tickets.

This touring show stars E. Casanova–one of the best Michael Jackson tribute artists in the world.

If this is your type of “game”–do a quick internet search on E. Casanova and the show itself. I think-actually I know, that you will find absolutely amazing video showing this guy in action as “Michael Jackson”…Also check www.theultimatethriller.com for video/audio/photos/tour information.

Trust me on this one, this “will” be one fantastic-show.

For the record, I know two of the “shows” creators. Back in late 2010 having completed a successful European tour, they told me about their plans to schedule a huge US tour. Well! It’s finally- arrived and you got a shot to get great tickets.

Just between you and me, I’ve seen videos and—I’ll bet you a buck that on September 1, 2012 a sold-out Hard Rock Live crowd is gonna swear that they are actually watching Michael Jackson on that arena’s stage.

One final thought… you and I both know, that “tribute” bands and shows are literally a dime a dozen down here in South Florida. Trust old Jeff Eats on this one, THE ULTIMATE THRILLER ‘THE’ MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE isn’t your standard run-of-the-mill show. This is a HUGE 2 1/2 hour THEATRICAL production that plays on a whole nother level.

  1. Jeff, like you I’ve been hearing about this coming show for years. Two of the band members are in a group called Tremors featuring the Earthquake Horns, they are the group that in addition to playing parties and clubs all over Florida are part of the Blues Brothers, Jake & Elwood show that works Universal Studios in orlando and all over the country. The band is great. As for the Jackson lead, I’ve seen him previously and is so like the real Michael that it’s hard to tell them apart.
Looking forward to seeing this show.

We had Tremors at our country club’s New Year’s eve party a couple of years ago. They come out of Orlando and are a terrific party band. If I recall correctly there were 9 or 10 in the band which included a great horn section.

    Hi Jeff,
Just read your post. Do you know how much tickets will cost for Michael Jackson?

    • JeffEats says...

      Scott:

Just had a chance to read your comments.

There are General Admission tickets…where you stand on the main arena floor. There are also “balcony” seats which are reserved.

      From what I understand GA-tickets are $35 plus $12 in fees/taxes…

      Thanks for reading…

Jeff, thanks for the heads up on this one.
Just bought 3 tickets and you are correct GA at $47 a ticket.

The last time I went to GA at Hard Rock was for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes. The arena was packed and it was a great event with people dancing and singing all over the place.
Michael Jackson’s music lends itself to some great partying.
This GA setup should be a load of fun.

    Jeff,
Looking forward to seeing this show.
If it’s anything like the videos, it will be incredible.
I think that the best tickets are the GA ones. This is going to be a real party and there is no way I would want to be sitting in a balcony seat.
I guess there are some that want a seat but I think the standing part is the real fun of this kind of a show.

    Jeff,
Like you I have seen a ton of tribute bands, Beatles, Eagles, Rod Stewart, Journey just to name just a few. Where do you think this Thriller show rates based on the local tributes in the area.

      MJ:

Just had a chance to read your comments.

Over the years, down here in South Florida I have seen numerous TRIBUTE bands. Give or take a handful, most of the appearances were in local restaurants, bars, country clubs and communties. I will tell you, that most of the bands did great jobs and were great to watch and party with.

Ultimate Thriller is a whole nother ballgame. This is an arena-theatre show. Suffice it to say, it is an extremely complex production—much different than the local shows that you and I have seen in local venues.

The bet here, is that thousands will be at Ultimate Thriller.

      Thanks for reading…

I have seen the show before with their previous MJ, and without all of their new special effects at Red Rocks in Denver, and theybwere standing room only. Over 6000+ people, and now they also added E’Casanova, who is hands down the #1 MJ interpreter and look/sound alike. I cant wait to see this show

    • Robert says...

      6414 people to be exact… 🙂

  7. Valerie says...

This is going to be awesome time.
Can’t wait for it to all happen!!!!!

  8. Chuck says...

Some of my friends and I saw this show in NY a few years ago. MJ was great but so were the dancers and all the other people in the Thriller. A must see show!

    • Robert says...

Tell your friends that I said thank you for seeing the show and the nice words of support

  9. Steve Katz says...

Hard Rock Live must think very highly of this show.
Hard Rock Live isn’t some rinky dink club. It’s a major arena in s Florida.
I checked out some video on the show and the MJ lead and it looks incredible.
The GA setup makes it sound like it could be even more fun than just plain old row seating.

  10. Mr. Stinker says...

Going to chek this one out.
    Something different.

  11. Robert says...

Hi Jeff and fans. Thank you all for the wonderful comments. My name is Robert Hyman. I am the creator and producer of The Ultimate Thriller and I can promise you one thing, this will be a concert you will remember for a very long time. This goes beyond just a simple tribute. Most of our creative staff was with Michael Jackson for over 20+ years each which gives this production a level of authenticity that no other has (LaVelle Smith, Michael Prince, Mic Thompson). You can check out their bio’s/credentials at http://www.theultimatethriller.com

I hope to see you all there on September 1st and bring your cameras, your dancing shoes and your party pants because it will be a night to remember!!!

  12. Denny L. says...

I got tickets for this one.
If you want some idea of how good the backing band is going to be, check http://www.tremorsonline.com
The producer of this show is also the drummer for the show and drummer of Tremors. The bass player of the show is also Tremors bass player.
Tremors works for the sanctioned Blues Brothers Show through Universal Studios.
These guys know how to play.

  13. Mike Z says...

Have seen a few tribute shows at HR.
The MJ one is going to be something special.
That GA setup tells me that people are going to dance and have a great time.
    Just got 2 tickets.
