***** Park Avenue BBQ Grille, 1198 North Dixie Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33432 (561) 416-7427.

On July 29, 2008 I told you guys about Park Avenue BBQ Grille…a small-casual-very reasonably priced-Florida based “bbq-chain.” Last night, I had dinner at Park Avenue’s newest location (#9) which just opened in Boca Raton…and the food is terrific.

Park Avenue’s newest spot—is located in the free-standing building formely occupied by Bucky’s BBQ. From what I can tell, other than hanging a few new signs and decorations, the joint has the same interior as Bucky’s had…and I gotta tell you, the cozy 98 seat dark wood table/ booth–dimly lit–small bar decor is great looking. For those of you not familar with this chain’s other 8 locations–they seat close to 150, have large bar areas and are brightly lit. Although the Boca location “looks” different than its brethren…the food is exactly the same, delicious.

Do me a favor and read my original 1/29/08 review…it will save me from doing some typing. You can check Park Avenue’s BBQ website www.pabbqgrille.com for menu/prices.

Park Avenue is one of the best bbq-joints in South Florida…The joint is open 7 days a week 11am-10pm.

Have eaten in several locations and the food is consistency delicious. Good prices and very friendly service. Their corn fritters with powdered sugar are great and you can’t beat their babybacks and St Loius ribs. One dish that few know about is their chicken salad. The best I have eaten. Looking forwrd to trying Boca location as it is 2 minutes drive from my office.

Everyone should try PA. The food is real good and real reasonable.
I especially like the bbq ribs and garlic toast. Never had a bad meal at PA.

My wife and I have been eating at PA for several years. As others have said you really do get a lot of good food for the money. PA also has terrific waiters and waitresses. We haven’t tried the new Boca Raton store but the original in Lake Worth which by the way started life as a Denny’s has never let us down.

You ever try rock n roll ribs in coral springs?
    If you haven’t you should.

Dinner last night at new Boca location. Some of the best St. Louis Ribs and bbq chicken that I have had in a very long time. Loved the garlic toast and fries, corn on the cob was a bit over cooked.
As good as Boynton and lake Worth locations.

Excellent ribs and chicken. Same goes for corn fritters. A sleepy dish is its chicken salad. A must try.

Dinner last night at PA very good ribs. I still like Miss. Sweets a drop better. Going to try Rock N Roll this week.

Pretty good ribs and chicken but Miss. Sweets right down the road has better food.

The new Boca spot has bad parking get in and out. The neighborhood behind PA isn’t all that safe either. My wife and I have eaten in other PAs and have always enjoyed the food. We tried the Boca location and we thought that the decor was great looking very woody-pub style. Food was as good as other stores.
