I’m gonna call Casola’s a “fast-food–red sauce–Italian” joint…because that’s exactly what it is…order at the counter–pickup at the counter.

Not really sure how long this joint has been around…but it has an absolutely enormous following. Was at Casola’s the other night and the joint was jammed.

My “taste test” netted me pizza, philly cheesesteak sub, lasagna and grilled chicken salad. Now for the verdict…the pizza is dynamite. The 2-slices that I had are as good as the NY slices that I grew up on in Brooklyn and Manhattan…I am telling you, they really are top-shelf. As for the other stuff that I had…good, nothing great. The game at Casola’s is PIZZA.

So that’s the Casola’s story…the joint is open Monday-Thursday 11am-midnight, Friday-Saturday 11am-4am and Sunday 11am-1pm.
