*****  The Field Irish Pub & Eatery, 3281 Griffin Road, Dania Beach, Florida 33312 (954) 964-5979.

With a name like The Field Irish Pub & Eatery…you know exactly what this joint is all-about. If for some reason you have been living on Mars for the past 50 years, check www.thefieldfl.com for menu/and so many photos that your head will spin.

The Field has a menu loaded with appetitzers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, meat/seafood and chicken entrees…and a bar with loads of beers and hard stuff. I tried the joint’s corned beef & cabbage, fish & chips, chicken pot pie and hamburger… between me and you, the food is just okay.

So Jeff Eats, if the food is just okay, why do we want to spend an evening at this Irish pub?…THE MUSIC: Tuesdays “2 of Us” Lennon McCartney tribute act…Wednesdays “The Hot Rod Show” starring Rod Stewart impersonator, George Orr…Thursdays-Fridays-Saturdays “Celtic Bridge” a 5-member band playing “real” Irish music.

So, we want to eat, drink and party at The Field,  Tuesday-Saturday nights. You are on your own, Monday and Sunday nights.

The Field Irish Pub & Eatery is open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner.

Agree w ith you again on this one. The nicest thing about this place is the swings you can eat on outside. Insiide is dark and cramped…food is fair.

The place was crowded the first time we went there. I loved the music (pure irish acoustic) which was mainly why we were there. It was so crowded that the only spots were at the bar. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage plate. I remember I liked it. But more than that, the entertainment (typical Irish) was great. Problem is, it’s blasted so loud that you have to yell to hear yourself talk and unfortunately, as much as I love the music and enjoy the food, I favor my hearing more than that. I won’t be back unless they turn the loudspeakers down and I spoke to the manager who told me the patrons “like it that way,” so they won’t see this patron any longer. Too bad, because the music was beautiful and the food was good.

The Beatles duo is terrific. Food is decent enough.

    Hi Jeff:
Wife and I took our son and daughter-in-law there tonight to see ‘The Beatles’. I know you originally posted this some time ago but they were great – just a fun time. Food is just OK but go for the music…
    Regards,
    Barry
