Yesterday had two delicious slices and a Coke at Brooklyn Boys. This joint is as close to a neighborhood Brooklyn pizza joint circa 1950-1960 that you will find down here in South Florida. You order from a counter and the joint has a few tables where you can sit. I try to get over to Brooklyn Boys at least once a month. It reminds me of the days, when I would stop for 2 slices and a large Coke on my way home from Erasmus Hall High School. Of course, back then a slice cost $.15 and a large Coke was $.10.
Best slice it South Florida.
Jeff I also reviewed this at http://www.worstpizza.com and gave it an equally high rating! Seems like we have a lot of the same tastes! Back in my time the slice was 0.75 and the large coke was 0.50. I remember my folks giving me 2 bucks for lunch!

As for “pricing”…when I was in high-school back in Brooklyn, a slice cost $.15 and a small coke was $.05…a whole pie was $1. I remember in my senior year of high school that our local pizza joint which we went to after school raised the slice price to $.20. My friends and I explained to the owner that if he didn’t keep the old $.15 price, we would go to another pizza joint which was just 2 blocks away. Low and behold, the owner “restored” the old $.15 price (only)for us until we graduated.
Pizza is just okay. Nothing special. But its passable.
