This “upscale” steak-seafood joint is located in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. I had dinner there last Saturday night (January 6, 2007).

Council Oak’s food is FAIR. Council Oak’s wait-service is FAIR. Council Oak’s menu is OVERPRICED.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for you to eat at this restaurant, unless you are a guest of the Seminole Indians or someone else.

Its a little overated I agree. We all did have an enjoyable dinner there but it was EXPENSIVE. Four dinners over $400…. but it was a special occassion. The steaks were delicious and tender. Everything a la carte. We had very very good service there.

  4. Jeff,
My husband and I stayed at HR this week. We are players and we were comped 3 nights and all of our meals. We ate dinner last night at Council and his bone in rib eye and my filet mignon were delicious. Maybe it was the COMP that made them taste so good but I don’t think so. Give the joint another try.
